Poker Rules

If there was ever any doubt of online poker's penetration into the mainstream corporate world, an appearance by Liv Boeree, Absolute Poker's UK ambassador, at a major European communications event should crush that doubt. However, you should be aware that although online poker rules generally are the same across the board, there are some differences that might cause you unnecessary trouble when push comes to shove. If you really want to get the Absolute Poker feeling you should go for one of the big casinos in Las Vegas like MGM Grant or the Bellagio. The Sit and Go TLB is divided into three groups: Diamond, Heart, and Spade. Diamond is for online poker players competing in sit and gos with buy-ins of $6.50 or lower, Heart is for $6.51 to $25 buy-ins, and Spade is for $26 buy-ins and higher. For each division, an Absolute Poker player's highest total score for 20 consecutive tournaments is what counts, which means that you aren't rewarded for simply playing around-the-clock.

We're hearing rumors that Absolute Poker is in the process of working on a new software that will allow Mac players to participate. My only questions is, what took so freakin' long? As a Mac enthusiast, I won't play online poker on a site if it doesn't support Mac, and it pains me that AbsolutePoker hasn't bothered coming out with a compatable software until now. Our online poker pros and other celebrity guests host each event, and to make it even more exciting, we've put bounties on their heads!
